I thoroughly enjoyed Shakespeare (for once).
Hamish Linklater and Brooke Bloom were amazing as Hamlet and Ophelia, respectively. In fact the entire cast was impressive!
I’ve always walked by SCR on the way to Segerstrom Hall – but never saw anything there until last night when my professor invited us to a preview showing.
They’ve got me almost sold on the student season tickets (except for that Pablo may not be here next season).
I agree completely. Best Shakespeare eva! I didn’t get bored at all, and the actors gestures really helped me understand the words better, or at least their interpretation.
