Carlos Urreta and Joe Philipson – two self-proclaimed geeks from Hawaii – are setting on a 3,000+ mile journey across the U.S. to convince 1,000 geeks to ride their bikes to work instead of driving. Impressive!

I wish I could recall where I first heard of these guys… perhaps it was a re-tweet or twitscoop find. Regardless, I’m personally hoping they’ll blog, gps and log their journey by photos as they go! Good luck!

Everything’s been a constant blur since about mid-2006, so I’m hoping that 2009 will be more defined than the past couple of years.
Some of what I hope to accomplish this year (in no particular order):
In one sense, I would like 2009 to take it’s time so that I may accomplish all these things. On the other hand, I can’t wait for 2010 to come because that means @Padrepablo will be done with school and we can pick up with our lives together again.

One of my winter break projects is to fix the myriad of messed up links, missing images, and multiple “pages” on this blog right now.
Not a completely smooth transition to merge Lost in Mastication with Voix de Novice. But it was fairly easy once @Padrepablo helped me get the .xml file from an older WordPress.
Posting this from the QuickPress tool on WordPress 2.7. I like the new upgrades and features!
